Supernatural stories are some of my favourites, and this one focuses on Japanese yokai! Kemono Jihen focuses on Kabane, Shiki, and Akira, three friends who team up with Inugami, a kemono detective in Tokyo, to solve various kemono related cases and problems. It's very much a shounen manga in both the action sense and the "nakama" sense. So far I've read the first 17 volumes, and while this manga takes on heavy and serious issues, it also has a lot of lighthearted and comedic moments. Kabane is so son-shaped and I can't help but want to see him succeed.

There was also an anime released for one season, but the manga plot has far surpassed that, so I recommend catching up with the manga if you want to see everything!

"Lillian Harper moves to the small town of Mt. Absalom, Ohio, to care for her estranged mother Dorothy after an injury. Living in the town's boarding house which has been run by her family for generations, she discovers conspiracies, ghosts, and a new family in the house's strange assortment of residents."

At the moment my all-time favourite Audio Drama, completed with 5 whole seasons. I love the way this podcast combines eerie vibes and supernatural occurences together with the realistic challenging of navigating a difficult mother-daughter relationship. There are so many warm and fuzzy moments, balanced out with scenes that will have you on the edge of your seat. I think you should pick this up at the end of summer/early fall, because it's perfect for moving into colder weather.
